Help to Buy is an Australian Government initiative administered by Housing Australia, designed to support more Australians in achieving homeownership.

Housing Australia is now working to operationalise Help to Buy in accordance with the program directions, and expect to open the program later this year.  

Housing Australia is now accepting Expression of Interest submissions for funding under the NHIF CT program.

The NHIF CT will provide grants and loans to support the delivery of new crisis and transitional housing projects for vulnerable Australians, including women and children experiencing family and domestic violence, and youth at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. 

Housing Australia is the independent national housing agency. We work with the private sector, community housing providers and all levels of Government to facilitate and deliver programs that help more Australians to access social and affordable housing or to buy a home.

Housing Australia is pleased to announce the release of 50,000 new Home Guarantee Scheme (Scheme) places including the continuation of the Regional First Home Buyer and Family Home Guarantees to empower more Australians to achieve their dreams of home ownership, sooner.
