After being diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease, navigating stairs with poor mobility and a walking stick became increasingly difficult at his Lavender Bay home.

Housing Australia has signed its largest lending deal of approximately $517 million to support the delivery of 1,370 new homes in Melbourne under a partnership with Community Housing (Vic) Limited (CHL), the Victorian Government, and industry.

Housing Australia notes the Australian Government has today released an updated Investment Mandate for Housing Australia. This comprises amendments to enable Housing Australia to provide loans and grants to support social and affordable housing projects that are funded through the Federal Government’s Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) and National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF).
