Released: Housing Australia Annual Report 2024-2025

Housing Australia is pleased to present its Annual Report for 2024-2025, highlighting progress made towards our purpose of improving access to safe, secure and affordable housing for more Australians, whether renting or aspiring to home ownership. 

2024-2025 highlights
  • Helping more than 60,000 Australians buy a home sooner, with Government-backed guarantees
  • $1.2bn+ in approved funding to community housing providers through the Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator (AHBA) and National Housing Infrastructure Facility (NHIF), supporting the delivery of more than 2,900 social and affordable homes
  • Funding committed to support 18,650 new social and affordable homes under the Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) and the National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF):
    • 177 contracts signed, supporting 13,600+ social and affordable homes through Round One
    • 102 contracts signed, supporting 5,000+ social homes through Round Two
  • 30 Expressions of Interest received for the National Housing Infrastructure Facility Crisis and Transitional (NHIF CT), with potential to unlock up to 569 homes for vulnerable Australians including women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, as well as homeless youth and those at-risk of homelessness.
