Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) – Social and Affordable
- 38,000+ social and affordable homes supported through our social and affordable housing programs
- Committed funding to support 18,650 social and affordable homes through the first 2 funding rounds of the HAFF, with projects now in construction and delivery across Australia
- Progressing the largest funding round to date (Funding Round 3) to help meet the national target of 40,000 new social and affordable homes by 2029
- Strengthened support for First Nations housing outcomes, including ring-fenced funding and dedicated streams for First Nations-led organisations.
Housing Australia Future Fund – Crisis and Transitional
- Delivered targeted funding for 700+ dwellings increasing the supply of crisis and transitional housing for women and children escaping family and domestic violence and young people at risk of homelessness
- Supported new crisis accommodation projects through grants and concessional loans, with a strong focus on timely delivery and community need.
Housing Australia Critical Infrastructure
- Over $480 million in funding to support critical infrastructure projects to unlock new housing supply
- Working with state and local governments and developers to address infrastructure barriers that would otherwise delay housing projects.
Bonds
- Issued over $2.8 billion in social and sustainability bonds across seven issuances, with tenors of up to 15 years
- Established social and affordable housing as a recognised investment asset class, attracting more than 70 domestic and international institutional investors.
Supported Home Ownership
- Since 2018, helped over 320,000+ Australians buy a home sooner through the Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme by providing Commonwealth guarantees that remove the need for Lenders Mortgage Insurance
- Since launch in December 2025, Australian Government Help to Buy Scheme has supported 4,000+ Australians into home ownership
- Supporting first home buyers, single parents and key workers to enter home ownership sooner with a low deposit.
