Housing Australia notes the registration of the Program Directions by the Australian Government, enabling Housing Australia to administer Help to Buy.

At this stage, the commencement date for Help to Buy has not been determined but is anticipated to open later this year.

Housing Australia is pleased to announce the release of 50,000 new Home Guarantee Scheme (Scheme) places including the continuation of the Regional First Home Buyer and Family Home Guarantees to empower more Australians to achieve their dreams of home ownership, sooner. 

Housing Australia is pleased to announce funding has been committed to support 9,284 social and 9,366 affordable homes across Australia, through 279 successful projects under the first two funding rounds of the Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF) and National Housing Accord Facility (NHAF).
