Statement on the registration of the Help to Buy Scheme Program Directions
Housing Australia notes the registration of the Program Directions by the Australian Government, enabling Housing Australia to administer Help to Buy.
At this stage, the commencement date for Help to Buy has not been determined but is anticipated to open later this year.

On 12 October 2023, the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC) was renamed Housing Australia. All reports and publications published prior to this date will reference NHFIC. However, these references can now be read as references to Housing Australia.
