Rebrand of Housing Australia’s social and affordable housing funding products

To make it easier for applicants to navigate funding options and access support, the Australian Government, in partnership with Housing Australia, is streamlining the social and affordable housing funding products administered by Housing Australia.

Under this streamlined approach, key programs will be consolidated and rebranded as:

  • HAFF – Social and Affordable will consolidate the Housing Australia Future Fund Facility, National Housing Accord Facility, National Housing Infrastructure Facility – Social and Affordable Housing, and the Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator
  • HAFF – Crisis and Transitional will replace the National Housing Infrastructure Facility – Crisis and Transitional
  • Housing Australia Critical Infrastructure will replace the National Housing Infrastructure Facility – Critical Infrastructure.

Housing Australia is progressing phased implementation of these changes in close collaboration with Government to ensure a smooth transition for stakeholders and maintain continuity of program operations.

The rebrand will streamline funding pathways, enhance coordination across programs, and strengthen engagement with states and territories, industry partners, and the community housing sector.
